Our facilitators

Steedan’s facilitators bring extensive experience in professional writing, editing and training. Each facilitator is selected for their ability to deliver clear, practical guidance in complex government and business environments.

Our facilitators understand the pressures of high-level writing and tailor every session to organisational standards, expectations and real-world constraints.

Lead facilitator:
Lynne Hayward

Lynne Hayward is the founder and lead facilitator at Steedan. She has delivered national and international writing training since 1986 and is widely respected for her expertise in high-level professional, government and corporate communication.

Her facilitation style is structured, approachable, engaging and uses real stories and examples to being the concepts alive. She can take complicated principles and break them into bite sized skills ready for immediate application. This provides inspiration to attendees to ‘try something new’ and expand their skill base.

Helping people reach full potential is my passion. I ache when I see people stagnate in positions because of an underdeveloped skill, or the lack of confidence to stretch themselves”.

Testimonial from a 2025 course participant:

“Lynne really knew her stuff; she taught me things that I was not aware of, she made it very specific to our businessus and always had a reference to back up the information she was teaching. She was super engaging, friendly and made people feel comfortable with sharing their thoughts, even if they might not have the right answer.”
